Good to
Know

I've never done Pilates — where do I start?
A private session is the best first step. We cover the foundations — breath, alignment and core control — at your pace, with personal attention so nothing feels overwhelming. If you'd prefer a group setting, the Form class is built for beginners.
What's the difference between mat and reformer Pilates?
Mat work uses your own bodyweight, while the reformer adds spring resistance and support to deepen and refine each movement. Most clients benefit from both, and I'll recommend a starting point based on your goals and experience.
Can Pilates help with back pain or an injury?
Often, yes. Pilates is widely used to build core stability and restore healthy movement. In private sessions we work carefully around your specific history — but always check with your doctor first if you're recovering from an injury.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. Online privates are live one-on-one mat sessions over video — the same personalized coaching as in-studio. All you need is a mat and a little space at home.
What should I wear or bring?
Comfortable, fitted activewear you can move in, and grippy socks for reformer and mat work. Bring water — everything else is provided.
How often should I practice?
Two to three sessions a week brings noticeable change in strength, posture and mobility, but even once a week builds a strong foundation. We'll set a rhythm that fits your schedule and goals.
Do you work with dancers and athletes?
Absolutely. With a background at the Vaganova Ballet Academy, training dancers and athletes is a special focus. You can read more on the For Dancers page.
Where are you located?
Sessions are based in Austin, TX, with online options available worldwide. Reach out and I'll share studio details when we schedule your first session.
